Stage Two: Aerobatic Maneuvers The student should be fully competent with the aerodynamic theory involved in aerobatics. He/she should be able to describe in detail the forces acting upon any control surface, wing or fuselage of a glider during high-G maneuvers. The student should be able to compose his/her own routine using IAC standard symbols.
Stage Three: Advanced Aerobatic Maneuvers Introduce and fly the following: Split s’s; Reverse Cuban 8’s; Immelmans; Standard Cuban 8’s; Aileron rolls; Inverted flight (sustained); Stall turns; Turns to headings inverted; 4-point rolls; Snap rolls; Vertical rolls, 45º inclined rolls; Humpty bumps; Tail slides; Outside loops; Upright and inverted spins; and other IAC unlimited maneuvers
